Green Corps Organizer Program - The Field School for Environmental Organizing

<aside> 🪴

We are looking for people who are concerned by the state of the environment and who want to do something about it. Our yearlong program has prepared recent college graduates for 30 years to launch a career in environmental organizing and advocacy by providing hands-on experience running campaigns with groups like the Environment America, Oceana, the Student PIRGs and more. We then connect our graduates to jobs in the environmental and social change movement. We can also connect undergraduates with internship opportunities in this field.

GLM is seeking volunteers for their community volunteer program, which aims to provide mentoring and friendship support for youth from low-income families who are experiencing mental health challenges. The youth are aged 9-16, receive mental health services and live in low-resource households. After receiving training, you would be matched with one youth to serve 2-3 hours a week for a minimum of one year, and our staff will support you along the way. Male mentors are especially in demand due to a waiting list of boys in need. For more info, check out www.greatlifementoring.com
